DevOps Engineers

We have a fantastic opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our team!

Marlo is Australasia’s leading independent provider of digital and integration solutions and we are seeking DevOps Engineers to join our team and provide a DevOps capability to several projects underway with our clients. This is a permanent role (but we will consider contracting as well).

Location: Melbourne

Successful candidates will have exceptional experience across CI/CD, a variety of environments and tools, with strong exposure to automate and successfully deliver and support into production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and documentation of Configuration and Environment services procedures
  • Planning, specifying and verifying system configurations
  • Ensure defects are located, managed and resolved
  • Ensure all software configuration, environment and integration activities are completed to the agreed standard


Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years’ IT experience with significant experience in DevOps or sysadmin roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT or related STEM disciplines
  • Experience in setting up SCM/CI/CD from scratch


Technical Skills

  • Advanced experience (installation and configuration) of CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, Team City, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Bamboo)
  • Advanced knowledge of API’s (Jenkins, Springboot)
  • Automated provisioning/config management with Ansible and/or Puppet
  • Advanced knowledge of linux operating system, ideally RedHat/Centos
  • AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk)
  • 50+ servers Linux environment administration
  • Cloud Stack Design, Deployment and Support
  • Docker container management
  • Design automation following the CI/CD methodology
  • Provision and configure resources to manage complex application environments either in cloud or on premise
  • Implement and manage orchestration tools
  • Scripting skills in Python, JSON, Ruby or Shell
  • Source control tool, Git and/or Mercurial
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile methodologies)
